How can I stop my hair from tangling so much
when I have washed it? |
| A. |
As scales are lost from the surface of dry hair it becomes
rough and jagged. The open, jagged scales on one hair
shaft entwine with those of the neighbouring hair causing
the two hairs to tangle. Two tangled hairs become ten
tangled hairs, which then become 50 and so on. To prevent
tangling, the surface of the hair must be made smooth
so that individual hairs glide over each other. Good quality
conditioners do this so tangling is drastically reduced
and combing is made easy. |

How can I change my style quickly and easily
to give it a different look? |
| A. |
Layer or blend the products you use when styling your
hair.
LAYERING - Apply different products to the hair one at
a time such as a mousse root spray and finally a texturising
cream. This will add body to the blow dry and seperate
the ends all at the same time.
BLENDING - Apply two products to your hands and mix together
before working through the hair. This adds extra volume
to the hair and makes a style last longer. |
